An invented person with four banks and two cards. Everything you change stays in your browser.
Tally starts by connecting a bank through Plaid, which is switched off in the demo.
Try this
- Sort a few transactions
- Open Budget and watch the pace colours
- Check which card to pay first
What it solves
The problem. My money lived in six apps. To know whether I could afford something I had to open every one and add it up in my head.
Who it’s for. Me. It replaced Rocket Money, with the parts I actually used and the ones it never had: which card to pay first, and a warning when a bill does not arrive.
How it works. Banks connect through Plaid. Transactions arrive unsorted and you swipe each one into a category, the way you clear an inbox. Tally learns the merchant, so the next one sorts itself.

Recurring explains its $0

Sort keeps all eight directions
(you preferred eight; sideways side labels are fine). Each label is tinted in its category's colour with no dot, the card is full width, and Tally's guess is a solid button in its category's colour. "Every Chipotle" is now a checkbox that says "Do the same…

Missed-payment notifications
Every morning around 9am Tally checks your banks for new charges. If a bill or subscription you kept is late (a few days for weekly, a week for monthly, longer for quarterly and yearly), your iPhone gets one notification, like "Hulu didn't charge ·…
