A kitchen a week in: nineteen things stocked, two dinners rated. Recipe ideas come from a stand-in for Claude, so they are the same four every time.
You go through setup the way a new user does: who you cook for, your gear, your spices, your stores.
Try this
- Tap Fridge to see what is in it
- Get ideas on the Cook tab
- Open a recipe and start cooking
What it solves
The problem. Food went bad because I never knew what to make with it. Recipe apps start from the recipe; I needed to start from the fridge.
Who it’s for. Me, cooking for two. It knows my gear, my spices, the stores near me and what I rated last week.
How it works. Snap the groceries, a receipt or the inside of the fridge and Claude reads it into lists. Ask for ideas and they arrive one by one, built around what you have, with only the missing pieces to buy.

Kitchen folds away
Profile shows Kitchen as three rows (Gear, Spices & basics, Stores) that open one at a time. Gear opens to one checklist, the likeliest things first: scroll, tick what you have, add your own at the end. Pans and pots you tick show their sizes under them.…

No rule suggestions
Rules is just the box to type your own.

What Cheffi has learned has its own window
, three notes tall, fading at the bottom while there's more to scroll. Each note has a pencil to edit it in place and an X; a swipe left removes it too.

Smaller ingredient bubbles on idea cards
The tags under each idea are a size smaller with less space between them, so the recipe name and its line lead. Bubbles elsewhere (Kitchen, cook mode) are unchanged. From review Round 3.
